Paul gets tons of support from 911 truthers. He acts like he doesn’t know why they follow him. But we know why. He goes on the talk show of a 911 truther often! His name is Alex Jones.
Alex Jones Yelling 9-11 is an inside job in a bullhorn.

I haven’t updated this blog in a LONG time, but I see Paultard is back at it, as are his internet gestapos and real life gestapos. I’ll give a brief history lesson in Ron Paul poll winning in case you forgot.
In 2007-08, Ron Paul and his followers won many polls. They won online straw polls. They won real life straw polls. If there was a poll, they found a way to win it!
This poll winning was an organized attempt to create the illusion that Ron Paul was a true contender. And really, this was the tactic of his followers. They did EVERYTHING possible to create the illusion that Ron Paul was a front runner.
When ever there was a live tv camera shoot in New Hampshire, they’d swarm to the camera and chant Ron Paul. Making it look like a HUGE throng of people was ready to catapult him to victory. Of course he never won a real life primary.
They had online fundraisers know as ‘money bombs’ where people would swarm and donate thousands and even a million in one day. Once again, creating the illusion that he had TONS of followers. He’d get TV coverage and then he’d go on to lose another primary!
Another tactic his followers used was to swarm online polls and real life straw polls. They’d out number everyone, get Paul the win, then brag on youtube, message boards and blogs that Ron Paul was the true winner and future president! Once again, it was about creating an illusion.
The sad thing about illusions, is that they are well, illusions!
Ron Paul won the 2010 CPAC strawpoll. His followers once again are trying to create an illusion. As is stated in this nice piece by The Guardian.
This year, with Campaign for Liberty and related organisations that grew out of his bid for the Republican nomination in 2008, Paul flew in volunteers by the jumbojetload.
Go tellz it on the mountainz. Tellz it evry wear!!! Ran Pull is president of CPAC!!!!
Lol@ pass it around like a Hot Potato.
Thank you Iowa indpendents for selecting Barack Obama and John Mccain. I sense a trend going on here. The ronvolution is over, the independent vote in New Hampshire will go to Obama and Mccain. But the Ronbots are having fun deluding themselves.
The Paulites have been passing around this “positive bulletin” around myspace. Of course it is filled with kool-aid delusions and glaring double standards.
(1) Contrary to what some here believe, we did significantly outperform our polls, just as we had been saying we would do all along.
According to Real Clear Politics, we were polling at 7.3% in the last five polls taken before the caucus (on average) yet, as of writing this, we are at 9.8%,
Significantly outperforming? I don’t think three points is significant. It’s three points. Huckabee must be burning the walls down because he won by over eight points and the polls projected him behind or only up two points at the most.
Look at the double standard here as they brag about “beating” Giuliani.
(3) We destroyed former front-runner Rudy Giuliani—absolutely destroyed him with almost triple his vote total—and don’t be fooled—Rudy didn’t compete here because he couldn’t compete not because he didn’t want to.
(2) Despite the fact that we put very little effort into Iowa until very late in the game and despite the fact that Ron Paul spent less time in Iowa than any other candidate (in a state where in-person campaigning is essential) and despite our shabby treatment by the mainstream media we still were just 3 points out of third place.
Say huh? Ok, they love touting how they beat Giuliani, and they won’t admit his poor performance came because he didn’t show up in Iowa. That is not considered a factor at all in explaining why Rudy did so bad. Yet that is a factor to consider when wondering why Paul did so bad!?
Good news my friends, The Ronvolution is over. They’ll spin this as a victory even after he admits his defeat.
At first glance, Ron Paul comes off as this idealist guy, up there just talking from his heart about what he thinks is right. He may appear misguided to some. Some may disagree with him, yet perceive he is a good politician, unlike those sleaze bag candidates he is running against. This perception is the furthest from the truth.
Ron Paul is also a sleaze bag politician. He may even be worse than some of the others.
Let’s start with his earmark spending.
He leads his district in earmarks.
Now this is where it gets interesting. This is where he turns into a sly dog, slippery politician. In one breath he argues doggedly for putting them in the bill. He talks with great passion about why they should be included. LINK
Look at the passion and logic he uses for including these earmarks in the bills. You’d think a man with a passion to put the stuff in the bill, the endless justifications to put it in, you’d think he would vote yes! But instead he votes no.
Does this seem like the actions of someone who isn’t a sly dog, slippery politician? If you’re for something, then you vote for it. If you’re against something, then you vote no. Paul is trying to say yes and no at the same time.
Most politicians get raked over the coals for changing their opinions over time. Paul is worse! He is politically schizophrenic and tries to have two opposing opinions at the same time. He’s not voting for something after he votes against it. He’s voting yes while voting no! But it doesn’t end here.
This guy can’t decide if he’s a Republican, Libertarian or an Independent. His first five terms in Congress were as a Republican. Then in 1988 he had a chance to run for president as a Libertarian. So he sends a letter of resignation to the GOP and runs for president as a Libertarian. A few years later he decides to run for Congress and what does he run as? A Republican of course. In 08 he’s running for president as a Republican, but he won’t rule out a run on a different party. LINK This reeks of political opportunism to me. He’s even admitted he’s running as a Republican this time because it’s more politically expedient. Easier to get on ballots and be seen in debates.
To top it off, Paul proposed term-limits, but then served ten terms in Congress. He has fun explaining this one. LINK
Ron Paul is indeed a sly dog, slippery politician. He tries to vote yes and no at the same time, chooses party affiliation based on what works best for him and he is both for and against term-limits.
Why does all this matter? Because much of his following comes because he comes off as a non-politician. He’s got that whole Mr. Smith goes to Washington mojo thing going for him. Ron Paul is anything but a Mr. Smith. He’s more like “Mr. Average Politician”. He’s not Doctor No. He’s Doctor Yes\No\Maybe and totally politically-schizophrenic. Can such a man be trusted?
